Question 1

Will simultaneous or consecutive translation be used for the Chinese speakers?

Answer:

(a) The speakers' powerpoint outlines have English sub headings.  

(b) In regards to English translation services: As this is a topical conference as part of a larger rehabilitation fair, which is geared towards a Chinese speaking audience, we are not anticipating large demand for English translation services. However, if sufficient interest from the international community is received, we will endeavour to meet the needs of English speaking attendees.  As the topics are highly professional in nature, translation needs rigorous preparation. As such, we would ask that you let us know 1 week in advance of the conference if you have this requirement, and we will do our best to make sure all needs are met within reason. Thank you for your understanding.

Question 2

Is lunch provided or people pay for their lunch somewhere?

Answer:  

(a) We normally provide free lunch for the parents and trainers.

(b) For this conference we will provide lunch for all attendees, if they confirm lunch on registration. 

(c) There are also lunch places downstairs that they can buy their own if they wish to do so.
